How much money would i get working in h&m ???? i know i already ased this but i got amercan answers?
im 14 three months till im 15 and, the six weeks off school is coming soon and i need a job to pay for me and my future i wanna be putting more than half away. How much would you get, obviously im not expecting like 5000000 per day but... Also is there any other places like thatt, tha pay more?
my grandad owns his own business.
He has 3 little vans i charge £5 for inside and outside. he has 3 big vans £7.50 inside and out and he has a large land rover £10 inside and out and a smaller land rover £5. If i do that ill make £52.50p just from cleaning cars :]

What are the current rates of the national minimum wage?
There are three levels of minimum wage, and the rates from 1 October 2008 are:
£5.73 per hour for workers aged 22 years and older
A development rate of £4.77 per hour for workers aged 18-21 inclusive
£3.53 per hour for all workers under the age of 18, who are no longer of compulsory school age ( a person is no longer of compulsory school age after the last Friday of June of the school year in which their 16th birthday occurs.)
This means that because you're under the age if 18, you're most likely to just be paid the minimum wage for your age group IF you're turning 16 this year and you're intending to work after June, which is £3.53 an hour. Unfortunately, in a retail type of job, this is probably the most you'll get. Although some shops work on comission, meaning that you can increase your wages through selling things and receiving 10% of the total price, for example.
However, if you're not going to be 16 this year, then an employer can pay you whatever they like because there is no legal minimum.
Unfortunately, because of your age, it might be very difficult to get a job in the more well known places like H&M because a lot of people go for those jobs and sadly, as you're younger, you're likely to have less experience and qualifications than those pople.
I'd advise just working for your granddad if you can, then perhaps go around your neighbourhood and ask if anyone else wants their cars cleaned/grass cut/dogs walked. You could even make a small flyer and put it through people's doors locally.
