How to write Romantic Messages & Short Love Poems
You don't have to be Shakespeare to write short love poems. Anyone can do it. If you follow the process I'll share with you, then your poems should be able to melt your spouse's heart, even if you're not great at writing.
Step 1: Choose a structure or framework. It's simple. You can bunch your poem together anywhere from one line to five lines at a time or whatever else you want. There is no specific guideline. You're not going to get arrested by the grammar police. But begin by choosing something. It doesn't really matter.
Step 2: Now choose the flow of your poem. You can choose to have a rhythm to your poem. You can rhyme your poems. You can write a haiku. But my guess is that if you're starting out, you might just want to do free flow and not worry about any added components. The technique doesn't matter near as much as your intent and your heart.
Step 3: Notice your spouse. Place your attention on her. Notice her feelings. What's important to her? What has she been feeling lately? What are her pains, fears and struggles? What inspires her? What is she moved by? This is an important step because it's where you get all your material from to write your short love poems.
Step 4: Now choose an aspect of her emotions, whether it's her fears or joys or whatever it is. Choose the emotions that have been the most prevalent for her. The emotions can be love, fear, pain, worry, or whatever. Just choose something that is real and at the forefront for your spouse.
Step 5: Before writing, place your attention on your spouse again. This is where you get your intent right. Your intent while writing must be to love her, to inspire her, to be connected with her. As long as you write from this place, your words will melt your wife.
Step 6: Now you can write. The first part of the poem will be describing the emotion you have chosen. The words don't matter. The intent does. Just write about her emotion. You can also write about experiences related to her emotion. Remember to get to the heart of the matter right away. Don't beat around the bush.
Step 7: Now write about how you'll solve her emotions. If it's pain or struggle or fear she's feeling, write about how you'll inspire her and love her. If it's joy or love she's been feeling, write about you'll continue to make that possible and better for her. Ultimately, you are writing about how you are loving her and paying attention to her. But again, it has to truly come from your heart. You have to mean it.
To write a killer love poem is basically just putting your attention on your spouse, see what means the most to her, and write about how you'll love her specifically about what means the most to her. If you do this, you'll write a great poem each time
