Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots LIVE
It has been a season of opposites for these two teams who meet at the Turf of Gillette Stadium at 1:00pm ET in the New Year and it is a final chance for one QB to shine this season. In one corner, we have a team that has already wrapped up the division title, a first round bye, and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. In the other corner, we have a team that looks like it has absolutely zero pulse going into the end of the year and is a train wreck offensively.
Henne knows that another bad performance will call for a lot of questions in this offseason, one that is destined to be a long one in Miami. A man like QB Jake Locker could be heading to South Beach in the NFL Draft if the Fins play their cards right, a move that they might be more inclined to make if Henne really can't get anything going in the last month of the season. We do need to remember that Henne has battled some knee injuries at times this year, but he was as healthy as a horse for the final four games of the season. The Fins were right there in the race at 6-5, and wins in three of the four games probably would have at least made things remotely interesting in the push for the playoffs. Instead, Henne went into a shell, throwing for just 783 yards with four scores against six picks. He single handedly blew games against the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions at home, both games of which really should have been won and won comfortably, and his offense only averaged 15.3 PPG in that stretch.
For the season, the Michigan product threw for 3,230 yards and 15 scores against 18 picks, numbers which don't suggest that he can lead this team to the postseason any time soon.
There's really not a lot to analyze here, as it is clear that the Pats, even if they do play at full strength on Sunday, won't be playing with much in the way of motivation. Miami lost 41-14 at home against New England Patriots earlier this season in a comedy of errors on offense and special teams. The Fins have played well on the road this year, going 6-1, and their last trip to Gillette Stadium did result in a 22-21 upset. Still, we can't back this team right now. Miami just lost to the Detroit Lions at home, for crying out loud! BetOnline is featuring a Week 17 betting line of New England minus 3 1/2, and we feel as though we have to lay the short spread, even if Hoyer takes every single snap in this game.
The Dolphins will head up to New England on Sunday to close out the season against the 13-2 Patriots needing a win to avoid a second consecutive sub .500 season. That's what the Dolphins are playing for on Sunday, folks - to avoid a losing season. Of course, win or lose, most Dolphin fans would agree that this season has been "lost" for some time. I can't argue that, either. But what I will say is that a win over the Patriots always feels good no matter the circumstances surrounding it. Other than that 2007 disaster, the Dolphins haven't lost both games to the Patriots in a season since 2003. I could sit here and talk about how the Dolphins need to run the football to keep New England's offense off of the field - and that would be accurate.
This is obviously the most worrisome matchup for the Dolphins. With Karlos Dansby still suffering from a turf toe injury, the Dolphins will likely be relying on two inside linebackers who are rather poor in coverage against backs and athletic tight ends. Last week without Dansby on the field, the Dolphins surrendered some huge plays to Detroit's Jahvid Best and Brandon Pettigrew. Pettigrew caught four passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. Best accounted for perhaps the most critical play of the game, a 54 yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter that jump-started their comeback.
That decision was second-guessed when Wes Welker - the 2009 NFL leader in receptions - suffered a major knee injury in the first quarter, causing him to miss a 33-14 loss to Baltimore in the wild-card round. Most of the intrigue Sunday will revolve around how Belichick chooses to play it this time after New England (13-2) clinched home-field advantage until the Super Bowl with last Sunday's 34-3 win at Buffalo, the team's seventh straight victory. "There's a lot of things that would go into that conversation, a lot of things we'll take into consideration," Belichick said. "There's some players individually whose situations are a little different than other guys. ... We'll do what's best for the football team, both individually and collectively." The coach may opt to give an extended rest to several rookies playing key roles, including tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, linebacker Jermaine Cunningham and Pro Bowl cornerback Devin McCourty. Hernandez and Cunningham didn't play in Buffalo.
Indeed, Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots is an one of a kind episode that you don't like to miss. We are giving you the FULL VIDEO for free because we don't want you to cry losing it. Religious Poetry In Hinduism
Religious Hindu verses are an essential part of the cultural being of any devoted Hindu. Many of these verses are recited or sung as prayers daily or on special occasions, while others are listened to or sung as devotional items whenever desired by the devotee. The first poem that comes to your mind when thinking of the devotional Hindu music is Tulsidas' 'Hanuman Chalisa' that is a religious poem devoted to the god Hanuman.
Hanuman Chalisa is a popular religious poem that has become widely popular among present day Hindus. A Lot of Hindu followers recite it once in a week to their God Hanuman, generally on Tuesdays.
Bhajans composed by Mirabai are also popular religious Hindu songs. Mirabai's bhajans are poetic pieces that has a religious and expressive quality. These bhajans in the bhakti tradition are sung in praise of Lord Krishna.
Mirabai's poetry puts love for Krishna above everything else in life. In her bhajans, she depicts Krishna as her husband and a romantic partner. They are a reflection of Mirabai's passionate wish to unite with her love Krishna. Her poems are thus both spiritual and devotional in their theme and tone.
Suitable mention should also be made of Sur Sagar or Ocean of Melody written by Surdas. Surdas is famous for his mesmerizing devotional songs including over hundreds of thousands of musical poems. Unfortunately only around eight thousand of them can be found nowadays.
These songs usually have stories about the Hindu deity Krishna and eloquently express the composer's love for the Bhakti tradition. They often talk about the holy union of the lovers Radha and Krishna and the celestial dances they performed called Lilas. A narrative on Hindu religious poetry would not be complete without mention of Kabir's "Bijak" Seedling, which is a collection of poems that reflect a universal view of religion and spirituality.
The poems are full of ideas of atman, brahman and karma, and have a strong bhakti undertone. They ask people to forget about their religious texts and scriptures and follow the goal of ekatwa or unity with God. They advise common people to cast aside their religious texts and sacred books to abide by the easiest way to ekatwa oneness with God.

Save Air and Gas
Since humans have been on the earth, recycling has been in practice to some extent. Resources, whether plentiful or scarce, can be reused and fitted to another purpose.
While there are archaeologists who state that recycling was practiced as far back as 400 B.C., the movement did not gain real headway until World War II. Previous to the 1940s, peddlers would scour cities for bits of metal that could be melted down and reused. With the onset of the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II">Second World War</a> and with war-time production demands to be met, recycling became a mainstream activity. Tin drives, rubber drives, household collection and donation of anything that could be used in the war effort became not so much a matter of industrial efficiency as a patriotic duty.
Several countries continued recycling practices after the war's end. However, it wasn't until the 1970s with production costs rising, particularly in the U.S. which was faced with gasoline shortages, that recycling once again became a part of daily life. The environmental movement of the 1970s aided in the practice again becoming vogue. The 1970s saw the first Earth Day, the Clean Air Act and dozens of other laws past concerning the preservation of the Earth. It was studied and found that production involving completely new resources take 95% more energy than using recycled goods. Companies and manufacturers could save time and expenses by reusing recycled products.
During the last decades of the 20th Century and beginning of the 21st, <a href="http://www.airandgas.net">recycling and "thinking green"</a> have become increasingly important, particularly in America. Grocery stores sell canvas bags for customers to use over and over again, to replace plastic bags. The majority of cities and communities in the U.S. have recycling centers and households can separate their own recyclables from waste. Landfills and dumps, once the only option for waste disposal, now have the ability to create natural gas which can be used as energy. This energy is made from the methane gas created by decaying waste. Landfill gas recovery is just another way that humans are finding to be frugal with resources. Almost without fail, every city now has separate receptacles for regular waste and recyclables; like paper, aluminum, plastic, batteries, and metals.
Money is still what makes the world turn for most. Recycling can help make money go further. In addition to the industrial savings it can create, recycling also can save money with end users. Second hand stores like the Salvation Army, Plato's Closet, and other consignment or donation stores are a form of recycling, even if they are not the first thing that comes to mind. Some states offer a small cash incentive for recycling certain items, like bottles, motivating people to collect these and turn them in for reimbursement.
With humanity doing their part to "use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without" the world and its resources are in much better shape than previously. Methods like landfill gas recovery and recycling are giving longevity to natural resources.
