I first saw a contemporary embroidery machine in action last year while I was on vacation in Spain. Walking around the tourists shops I noticed a stall with an embroidery machine. It was a small industrial one, not much bigger than a good home machine. The girl who was manning it was generating a fortune sewing designs onto caps and t-shirts.
Customers were just telling her what they would like; she was putting it into the computer, when the customer was happy, she simply set the device going and produced caps or shirts with the design on. The customers were delighted.
A modern day embroidery machine is definitely an asset to have in your home, regardless of whether you've no desire for making a little bit of money by doing jobs for others. Just to be able to personalize your own home fabrics and make unique clothes for your family makes it worthwhile having one of these machines. And the prices are amazingly cheap for the technology you are getting.

Reminiscing My Irish Travel With Unique Irish Gifts
Spending two months in Ireland for a photography gig has been the most exciting part of my career thus far. From Dublin to Cork, I have shot some of the most beautiful landscapes anyone can find anywhere in the world. Aside from the magnificent landscapes I have also shot several castles and landmarks that are unique to Ireland. And now it is time to get myself some unique Irish gifts.
Throughout my several months' vacation in St. Patrick, I have also immersed myself into their tradition and culture. I started to love Guinness and have dabbled in their customary dancing and I may now audition for Riverdance. I have learned to like and enjoy local songs. Whether it is mainstream like U2 or The Corrs or independent artists like Glen Hansard, Irish music definitely offers a lot to express.
The two-month Irish travel is about to end. I really love the place Just as much as I would like to stretch my stay, yet I have plenty of responsibilities left at home. I do not plan of leaving Ireland without bringing a bit of it along with me. I could not wait to talk about my encounter with everybody. Apart from sharing with them amazing tales of my stay here, I plan to bring them unique Irish gifts.
The first on the listing will be the flag of Ireland. I have started to love the country, the culture and the people. And one way to display my respect and appreciation for this wonderful country is to bring the flag and happily display this in my room. I have discovered, though, that it can be customized. Exactly what I might want is an Irish flag then I will have my Irish friends' signature embroidered on it.
Guinness. The drink that I have thoroughly enjoyed with new friends. Any thing that has a Guinness logo on it will be fine for me. A mug, a tee shirt or a bag will do. I could actually start my own Guinness products collection. A friend already presented me with a Guinness magnet and keychain, now all I need to do is look for more merchandise to bring with me back home.
I found 100% Merino wool Shamrock throw that could just be perfect during a cold night time. It could be like taking some the Irish good fortune with me every where I go. The dimensions are sufficient to snuggle in or I can lay it down in picnics or star gazing fun. The style evokes traditional Irish myth, homeland and delight.
Among my treasured spots in Ireland will be the Claddagh. It was previously a fishing community, a location near to the center of Galway city, in which the Corrib River meets Galway Shore. Although the place is famous for its Claddagh ring, a band showing two clasped palms holding a crowned heart that symbolizes love, solidarity and respect. I will surely be getting home with me the Claddagh travel journal. It is going to remind me of this beautiful place wherever I go. Now this is your unique Irish gift.
I guess I will be bringing lots of Irish pieces with me back home. I may also be giving my friends other unique Irish gifts including shamrock fridge magnets and keychains. I will also give some individuals diecast Irish souvenir bus, book of kells merchandise like scarf and books and Irish dancer rag dolls. Most of all, what I shall be bringing and sharing with them will be the joy and reminiscences of my stay in Ireland. And the hope that they likewise will go and encounter the gorgeous island nation.

Soy Memory Foam Mattress Eco Friendly?
At the end of their useful life, mattresses go into landfills. They are big, so they take up a lot of space. They have a large "footprint" or environmental impact. Traditional memory foam mattresses, while being the most comfortable sleep surface, are made from non-renewable petro-chemicals (fossil fuels).

Mentor Graphics Introduces Precision Rad-Tolerant Product to Provide Unique Advanced Radiation Effects Mitigation
Mentor Graphics Corporation (NASDAQ: MENT) today announced its new Precision Rad-Tolerant™ FPGA design solution for aerospace and high-reliability applications. The product introduces an industry-first, synthesis-based radiation effects mitigation solution to reduce the risk of functionality problems including soft errors caused by single event upset (SEU) and single event transient (SET) disruptions and has been developed with NASA's guidance. Initial support is available for SRAM, anti-fuse, and flash-based devices from Actel and Xilinx.
With Precision Rad-Tolerant, Mentor is addressing the critical need for automated, FPGA vendor-independent methods of radiation effects mitigation. Alternative mitigation methods, such as manual HDL coding, can be either too costly, time consuming, or error-prone. The Precision Rad-Tolerant solution also delivers all of the unique synthesis-based capabilities of Precision RTL Plus, including low power synthesis, integration with Mentor tools, and specialized features and flows for mil-aero and safety-critical applications.
The Precision Rad-Tolerant product has several unique features that make it much easier for designers to incorporate a variety of radiation effects mitigation schemes, such as automated, multi-vendor, multi-mode Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR). The tool builds on—and enhances—proven mitigation methods such as redundancy of sequential and combinational logic. Because TMR insertion is performed at the synthesis level, designers are no longer limited to using fully radiation-tolerant devices and can achieve higher-quality results versus alternative mitigation approaches.
By addressing radiation effects during implementation, the features of the Precision Rad- Tolerant solutions provide an unmatched level of automation and user control. Melanie Berg, MEI Technologies, NASA/GSFC Radiation Effects and Analysis Group, stated that although the concept of TMR was simple, writing a reliable VHDL equivalent was not. He further added that Automating TMR logic insertion is very beneficial to a FPGA designer developing critical space applications, while allowing the user to select the type of TMR mitigation.
A unique feature of the Precision Rad-Tolerant product is synthesis-based insertion of fault-tolerant finite state machines (FSM). The resulting FSM can "absorb" radiation- induced single event upsets (SEUs), mitigating their effect rather than switching the state machine into an unknown or unpredictable state. This form of safeguard meets the needs of a wide range of high-reliability applications.
Ken O'Neill, director of high reliability marketing for Actel stated that Mentor Graphics was enhancing the FPGA design flow for high reliability. He further added that with support for their RT ProASIC3 FPGAs, Precision Rad-Tolerant allowed designers of space-flight systems to take advantage of the reprogrammability and low power consumption of flash-based FPGAs. Additionally, designers of high-reliability systems which must withstand radiation environments, such as oncology systems and airborne avionics systems, could use Precision Rad-Tolerant to protect critical data paths in ProASIC 3, IGLOO and Fusion families.
Tom Feist, senior marketing director for the Xilinx ISE Design Suite said that Xilinx provided proven solutions for space and high-reliability applications that were unique to their leading-edge Virtex families. He further added that Mentor Graphics delivered a unique, synthesis-based approach to soft error mitigation that could complement Xilinx solutions for high reliability applications.
Daniel Platzker, FPGA Synthesis product line director, Mentor Graphics Design Creation and Synthesis Division stated that Mentor was uniquely positioned as the leading EDA provider of FPGA solutions for military, aerospace and high-reliability applications. He further added that Precision Rad-Tolerant filled a void for FPGA designers that were concerned with radiation by providing radiation effects mitigation capabilities that were unmatched by any other product available.
