How to avoid your Thai girlfriend attacking you with a knife in Pattaya

You may think this title introduction to my article is some sort of a joke and whilst on your holiday to Pattaya this could never happen to you. It's surprising how quickly a brief encounter with a bar girl in Pattaya can become a full blown relationship in a comparatively  short time.

At first of course everything is wonderful with your new found congenial companion, but later you begin to notice small things that are off putting and you decide to end it and move on. There maybe countless reasons why you want out. Maybe, you have noticed her excessive drinking, become bored walking around Pattaya in the soaring heat hand in hand. Perhaps her demands for money are becoming more frequent. Whatever the reason you want to end it all, and move on to pastures green. Seems straightforward enough you might say, what's the big deal I tell her its finished.

You may believe she will lock herself away for a few days in a darkened room with a big box of tissues to cry over you, and hopefully that will be the end of the matter. Nothing could be further from the truth and finishing any type of relationship with a Thai bar girl will be far more difficult than ending one with their european counter-parts.

Thai bar girls tend to be more excitable, unpredictable and yes more revengeful than women you might be accustomed too in your own country. There was a case very recently at a well known disco in Pattaya where a bar girl came face to face with her love rival slashing her face repeatedly with a broken bottle and leaving her in a pool of blood on the dance floor. It is also a common retribution by Thai women to cut a man's anatomy whilst asleep if he has been playing away. Never ever end a relationship with a Thai bar girl in such a way that she looses face amongst her friends, if you do you will live seriously to regret it.

If you choose this course of action you must pick your moment carefully. During the day is probably best time to break the news. At night in your condo or room is not advisable, she will probably refuse to leave and become aggressive and start shouting loudly waking everyone within earshot. Also If you do at night, she will turn to drink to fuel her aggression towards you for later, with unreasonable behaviour.You may think you just walking away is the answer and anyway you will never see her again. Not so, this is woman and a Thai lady to boot, this is lightly to end as a holiday from hell. She will undoubted call you every name under the sun and accuse you of leading her on even if that is not the case it will not end well.

If you finish you will have to mean it, switch off your phone and don't answer numbers you don't recognise. This will be her or her army of friends becoming involved. Never return to her bar and don't be seen openly flirting with other girls from her bar or with other women in her company. Don't be tempted to find a replacement lady too soon. It is very common for your ex-lady-friend to come knocking your door in the early hours to be let in. This would be on the pretext of wanting to talk or collect items she has conveniently left at your condo for this eventuality. Your whispers to go away will be non effective and she will raise the steaks by raising her voice and starting to shout. This will be to wake as many people as possible as an audience to overhear the abuse she will want to hurl at you.

Never be tempted to open the door no matter how loud she becomes. Sometimes if being ignored she may start kicking the door to be let in this may seem far fetched, but happens often. This brings me to the point of not having another woman with you, if you have not taken my advice on letting things cool for a few days. If you have been stupid enough to have written your ex off so quickly you will have the double trouble with the woman that is with you becoming involved. In this situation do not open the door it will end in a bloodbath for all concerned. Your only real option is to call security for her removal or wait it out till she departs on her own volition. If your very unlucky she will be waiting outside when you open the door in the morning having fallen asleep outside.

Never strike a bar lady in the heat of a struggle even if it is self defence and she is physically attacking you. Unlike in some countries where people would not want to get involved Thailand is entirely different and you will be attacked and seriously hurt by bystanders. She will report you to the police and press charges in an instant, the police will of course take her side in all cases. You will end up paying considerable financial damages to her to avoid imprisonment. Most bar girls can take care of themselves very well and every bar has male backup from some very unpleasant individuals if required. If you feel intimidated or threatened in a relationship, and feel uneasy the best course of action is to just pack your bags and discreetly move as far away as possible.
